You can experience this ridiculous design flaw in many places, in fact - though few as damningly egregious as the thread topic. The earliest place where it can happen very easily is the ogres in the village - if you fight them, there's a good chance that at least one of them will die on top of the tiefling corpse and prevent you from searching it or casting SwD on it.

The fact that fallen bodies can obscure your ability to select, search or interact with other objects, that large bodies are particularly prone to this, and that those same large bodies present literally no way to move them once they've fallen over the object you need, AND they never decay or disappear is just... it's absurd that the issue still exists a year into EA development, frankly.
