i have been listening to elliott smith all day, in honor of his memory.

fyi for those who don't know- elliott smith was one of my favorite singer/songwriters. he was an incredible lyricist, and had one of the most beautiful voices i have ever heard. he was found dead in his apartment on tuesday, of an apparently self-inflicted stab wound to the chest. i will miss you, elliott.

listen to his music here and here. let his voice touch you.

Confide In Me - Kylie Minogue

But only when Unkle isn't on repeat. Never, Never, Land has sucked me in. And next it'll be Hybrid's Morning Sci-Fi when I can afford it.

Morning Sci-Fi, Hybrid

Much like the first album, Wide Angle, only more intense. Also comes with a DVD, but I haven't watched it yet.

Tenacious D does anyone know of Tenacious D
i think Jack Black sings, and some songs are quite hilarious
like...."The Greatest Song in the World"....... where halfway through the song he decides it's NOT the greatest song in the world... funny stuff!

Just had to revive this thread for DATD who needs some musical reference pages!

no no, jurak- it never was the greatest song. it was a tribute to the greatest song, which j.b. and k.g. played so their souls wouldn't get eaten by the devil. they couldn't remember what the greatest song was, so it was just a tribute. go back and listen, man!

oh, yeah, i used to be a big d fan. my boyfriend has all the old episodes on a tape. don't listen to them much anymore though.
