I was sure of that, Drago, and it looks I was right .
I am not an old fan: I heard "The Only" in NFS: Underground. I heard of Static X before on several occasions and even if I didn't really like the song in the game, I decided to listen to the Shadow Zone CD... And I liked it, even loved it, including "The Only"! (I really didn't like NFS:U. "The Only" by Static and "Born Too Slow" By Crystal Method were the only 2 good songs).
Static X - Otsegoelectric, the best otsego- song imho, even if my sig quotes Otsigo Undead .

static-x - cold
is my favorite. playing it now and going to sleep after.
Static-X' videoclips are really worth getting them,
Cold -> Vampires Black & White -> awsome clip, wiv the band appearing to be cyborgs.
It's one of these days...

Cold from the machine album. That's good: I pretty much dislike Slipknot. Yes, I got Cold and B&W. I didn't understand what you meant by "Cold - Vampires" untill I saw the video, that's why I was asking. Cold has element from Queen of the Damned... But the song is very good. Listening to it right now. Funny that in the Cold video, the drummer wears gloves . The robots in B&W were funny too. Static X - Cold

Slipknot is the past, I don't want it to be so violent all the time. Today I listen to what mood I am in. So I'll listen to slipknot, but mostly I'll skip it if gets shuffeled in the playlist.
Like now, I'm in a mood for Nightwish, After Forever, Iron maiden, Old Metallica...
np: Nightwish - She's my sin.

Just discovered that VAST have a new album coming out next week (24-Feb-2004): Nude. Will have to see how it compares to the other two...
I wanted to get the pre-release version (special packaging, etc.), but they only ship in North America.

now if they could put together a 3 or 4 or even 5 CD set for the works of Genesis, I'd buy that too!

Signal to the noise.
By Peter Gabriel.
Very difficult, very disturbing, very deep, very ... what we call in German "unter die Haut gehen" ("going into / under the skin" - when your skin shivers).
