Unfortunately, Lae'zel's and Shadowheart's inventories are still inaccessible while on Nautiloid.

It's possible, but then again there still seem to be some issues to iron out if that's what they're intending. Haven't tried post hotfix but yesterday I dragged a bow onto Shadowheart's portrait hoping she'd be able to equip it and it just disappeared into her inaccessible backpack.
