Hi,
Just a small suggestion for people like me who aren't familiar with D&D mechanics and previous Baldur's Gate games regarding the spell book. I think it needs to be more "obvious". I mean, it is signaled through a small icon on characters sheet or by using the "K" keyboard shortcut, and, when you learn a spell through a parchment you've got the pop-up "Press "K" for more information" ; but, if, like myself, you're not watchful and are unfamiliar with D&D mechanics, you might wonder why are'nt your new spells available in the toolbar and think that the game is broken while, well, it's just that you haven't understand how it works (that is honestly what happened to me: I taught Gale a lot of spells and thought "It's so sad that they do not appear in his toolbar I guess it's a bug" even though obviously it wasn't...).

So, my suggestion would be to improve the tutorial, for instance by having a tutorial pop-up the first time you learned a spell through a parchment or the first time you open a character sheet, so we could'nt say that we did'nt know there is a spell book mechanic. Plus, the tutorial already has a paragraph entitled "Prepare a spell" but it just explains that you need to prepare your spell and that you can change them whenever you want but it doesn't explain how to do it and what does "prepare" means: do I need a short or a long rest after shifting my spells?... So, that could be good informations to add.
