I believe Dwarfs should be able to "see" in the darkness somehow ...
I mean the idea with cone vision may seem fun, but im not watching the game in 1st person, so i dont care what my character should not be able to see ... I NEED TO SEE! -_-

I agree with you, I want to be able to explore the dark zones with my dwarf (and other "darkvision" races) without needing to use a torch, at the beginning of early access I remember the darkvision worked in 360 and it was much more effective and useful for the camera system that the game has.
