It's "Tiefling" Please endeavour to get it right if you're going to reference any group by race in the first place.
I'm curious as to why I see so many people spelling it with an 'h'; I've seen perhaps a half dozen or more posters on these forums do this, and it's a derogatory by word association that I'm getting very tired of seeing people commit. Where does doing this come from?
Tiefling has no allusion or connections to thievery. The name, pronounced (teef-ling), was derived by Wolfgang Baur from German tief meaning "deep, low", and the suffix -ling, "offspring," alluding to their connections with the "lower planes". That is all.
i apologize for not correctly addressing a FANTASY-RACE.. i hope their fantasy-feelings are not hurt..
i'm not trying to endorse another game here, but...
you can bring your case to the writers of pathfinder: wrath of the righteous and debate with them the proper terminology...
"Thieflings Hideout is a Location in Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous. Thieflings Hideout can be found at Kenabres. A spacious well-furnished cellar under the hardware store serves as a hideout for thieflings in Kenabres. This is where the eldest sister Kerismei, appointed by the Family, conducts the gang's affairs by planning robberies and sharing the loot between the gang members."
