I offered information that you could use to help your feedback come across as more informed, that's all; you don't need to respond to it - that's your decision. I thanked you for chipping in and putting in the time and effort to write up, initially, and suggested a way that can get your reports to Larian more directly. I thanked you for your response regarding the possible origin of the seemingly frequent misspelling - you didn't need to respond, and I learned something in return because you chose to; thanks for that.

I was irked by that particular issue that I've seen around, and spoke a little more tersely than I should have - I do apologise for that; I've seen it used by others who were being deliberately derogatory to the refugees, and since your description revolved around an evil play-through, I got the impression you were too - an assumption I should not have made. Again, sorry for any perceived harshness.

As for the feedback itself, most of the points you make here are ones that have been brought up often and repeatedly by others, too, so you're definitely not alone - but every fresh voice that comes the same conclusion and speaks up is one more chance that they might listen, so thanks for taking the time.

In normal 5e, there's not really any way to truly mess up a character, or to make yourself ineffective, but you can only trust that so far with Larian's homebrew - some subclass choices are grossly overbalanced compared to others, thanks to their implementation and homebrew, while some abilities, spells and even subclass choices are very much traps that will wind up feeling overshadowed by the various universal homebrews that Larian have adopted at the current stage. Given that respec options were present in Larian's other games, it seems probably that one will be available in Act 1 somewhere, at some point, and many others have asked for it. Nothing yet though...

The ability to export characters is something that every D&D game worth its salt has, and Larian have not, as yet, seemed to realise that it's considered a staple. This is another case of 'every voice helps' - you're definitely not alone in wanting one.

The character creator is extremely limited and underwhelming right now. We don't know how much to hope for in terms of its improvement. There's a cadre of people who sing its praises furiously, which I personally have never really understood, considering how empty it is - the individual detail on the face scans is pretty impressive, but that's still only ~6 heads to choose from, many of which look very similar to one another, and no ability to modify them further in any way. A limited palette selection for hair and skin tones, rather than full freedom; an extremely archaic mode of selecting hair styles and tattoos, that makes navigating it annoying; no ability to customise your body at all; the character creator barely deserves the name, as it stands right now. Character selector is closer to what it is... many folks want more that what's on offer, so here's hoping they listen.

Conversations are another sticking point for many - the player character is treated like an empty shell - the camera that gets wheeled around to watch other characters having characterisation while being unable to define any for themselves in any tangible way. Many - the majority even, of our conversation options are extremely poplar reactions that are pitched specifically for the 'real' characters to react to... and frankly, it's aggravating at times. Larian have said that the player character will get more development and that they want to make them feel like areal character, as much as their oh-so-precious origin characters, but we've yet to see any evidence of this, at all, in any way... so for now, all we have are conversations full of heavy-handed options designed to let other characters react to, with little chance for consistency or personal character definition... all we can do is keep asking for something better.
