I'm playing druid and I don't enjoy skill pool I'm proficient.

And what exactly are you missing? O_o

Since im affraid that in matter of skills, druids are pretty raw ...
Im matter of weapon proficiencies tho, that is much worse, since we have no slings on darts (aka the only dex-ranged weapons Druid have). :-/

Almost all Classes in D&D have 5e only let you take two skill proficiencies, and two others come from the background.

What definitely does need to happen in the final release though, is being able to customize the skill proficiencies of the background you take, because none of the backgrounds provided by the PHB provide proficiency with Investigation or Nature, meanwhile 3 of the basic 13 provide proficiency with Athletics.
