I have nothing against the concept and definitely nothing again you specifically. The service just don't seem to do very well, as there seem to be a relatively small pool of gamers for whom their serivce would provide value. It's pricey subscription and on top of that you need to buy full price games, to which you might not have access to anymore, if Google decides to shut the service down. I think you are also greatly overexadurating how much money one needs to spend on a PC. Though both car and PC parts prices have been skyrocketing, so my estimated might be out of date.

Don't take stabs at Stadia personally, I don't mean to look down at anyone for whom Stadia offers a valuable service - I just genuinely hope that you will be able to access your copy of BG3 for years to come.

If you compare it with buying a system (console or PC in case of BG3) it is cheaper option. I would still prefer to buy a console - the investment should make a return withint the lifespan of the device, but I can see how it can be appealing to someone, who would just want to play BG3 specifically.
