I would buy a new console or be thrilled if they released BG3 on PS4, but personally we're not about to go out and buy TWO gaming PCs just so we can sit hunched over a computer monitor to play a video game. Personal preference. If you like K+M, cool!

Sitting and relaxing on the couch, controllers in hand, playing co-op DOS2 and then DOS1 was amazing. We also play RDO on Stadia. We'd be playing Solasta for sure as well as any other CO-OP capable high quality game.

Frankly I don't want a gaming PC. Been there, done all of that. It's not that we CAN'T afford a gaming PC each, but then it's what to buy. What card to get. Monitors or HDMI across the room to the TVs. Get a controller to work. Download the game, then the patch, then the next patch...etc. Oh, the install didn't work. Reinstall. Different drivers. Change this registry setting. OMFG, I want to sit down and play CO-OP BG3 for a couple hours at the end of the day. I don't want to maintain an entire system and navigate mouse and keyboard after I've already done that all day long.

IF Stadia were a service that had access to any PC game, perfect! I'd pay a lot more. As it is, $10/mo is a bargain so I don't have to worry about managing a computer system to play a video game. The only reason I do pay the $10/mo is so that I can occasionally play some new demo or get free, albeit mostly stupid, Stadia Pro games. But it's fun every once in awhile.

Frankly any of you "elitist gamers" who get an ego boost from making snide little remarks about how much cooler you are because you have a gaming rig you play with instead of playing on crappy Stadia (yes, that's what you're doing in a nutshell) well,,,I hope it makes you feel a little better about yourself.

If you're offended by that last comment then you're probably who it's directed towards.
