My own theory is that they use the stadia version as a precursor to their console version as it already has gamepad support.
huh. If they have functional gamepad support, I wonder why they didn't include it Steam/GOG builds. I was just thinking recently, that I would appreciate being able to play BG3 with a gamepad.
