It's harmless, perfectly fine. I'd vouch for having an LFG forum for D&D but there's no traffic or demand for it here.

I do recommend including a timezone and timeframe you aim to be playing, as well as some flavour information of what to expect (Is it an RP heavy table, combat-heavy focus, exploration etc) so that you generally gather players that are more likely to be compatible and have fun with eachother and not have conflicting motivations and interest at a table, which can be challenging with stranger groups formed online.

There are also some good resources online for more efficient group finding, a quick search gave me this list which has some good recommended discords for LFG. D&D Beyond discord also is good.
