Seth leaves once the escort quest is complete. It is possible to get him back (
Reviving dead NPCs), but much easier to kill him before then. If you use Poison Cloud, you can kill him without him becoming hostile. Some people have used a Frost sword or Freeze (maybe combined with Curse) and attacked him directly, or a continuous barrage of Meteorstrike, etc.
