I just find it problematic that sometimes people tend to carve moral dimensions in RPGs into "good and evil" in very simplisitic ways, which doesn't take into account that not only "good hearted folks" are capable of manifesting a nice or "kind" outward appearance.
Well, perhaps a skill like
Disguise or an
Aura of Innocence spell should be implemented, temporarily adding to your Reputation or Charisma.
Good and evil are often seen as an easy way to separate sides. Ideally, you could have a Reputation with each faction/race, like in
GTa2. It would be impossible to be in everyone's good books, especially with warring factions. If this was in
Divine Divinity, it would make the Human/Orc and Dwarf/Elf wars more interesting.
Although I do feel that something along the lines of Fallout implements a fairly good system of multiple moral choices. What do you think? (assuming you have played Fallout or the sequal)
I think I'm yet to play it. Sorry! I've heard so much about it on these forums. I'm thinking I may have to try it. I've got too much on my plate at the moment though...
