Single-handed swords, daggers, instruments...basically everything is being stored on the back in BG3, and it's become a bit silly. It feels like a cheat. I would like to ask for a backpack item that can replace whatever gear appears on the back, because it's a far more realistic representation of how a character would travel than with all manner of gear just floating on the back.

I understand that backpacks can be tough when it comes to clipping, but I think it would be a huge boost to immersion.

+1 and it would be nice for swords to be sheathed on the side. Rapier that hangs on the back is silly

I agree some visuals are so very good like hair. But backpacks and scabbards are missing.

And let's not forget quivers.

Thanks to Chubblot, we know that using some assets from Knife, he managed to force his Rapier to sheat on hip ...
Therefore it is possible ... so if Larian would implement this change, i would really like to appeal on them to let us decide where we want to have our weapons.
(With option for at least Daggers to be hidden.)

Since, like it or not, Rapier of this size is just as silly on hip, as it is on back ...

As for backpacks ... i dont like those, so i would certainly not mind at all, if they would be left out.

Yes pls to quivers and scabbards, etc. Weapons must go somewhere 🤤
