Yeah, and I don't think they should. I sometimes put them in my own homebrew campaigns, but it is not even an option 5e rule, it is literally homebrew. And I don't think I like nat1s and nat 20s applying to skill checks in a video game, it just feels crappy. At least make it an option later down the road.
