We’ve got another hotfix for you today, addressing a couple of troublesome crashes and issues. It’s not a party if your members stop following you into the unknown, so we’ve had a little chat with them about following your instructions more closely. Now, your followers should…follow you. Thank you for taking the time to report these issues to us so we can fix them swiftly!

FIXES

• Fixed an issue where party members would stop following the character you’re controlling, including crashes that could occur relating to this issue.
• Fixed a crash related to switching hair colours or highlights.
• Fixed a crash that would occur when ending long rest and then saving.
• Fixed a crash related to pickpocketing and trading, and using items whose ownership changed.

yeah old saves with this bug are working now, happy I can keep playing!

I happened to be playing and trying to fix my own crash literally as this patch was released and changing nothing, my next save went through fine.

Thank you! So far since release (even though in EA) I haven't had any major unplayable crashes or bugs. And then the non-following bug happened which was quite discouraging.

Does it fix the bug where if you camp underground and change your party, those folks are not available when you next go to the main camp?

it does make you wonder how testing is done when the game comes out so busted but EA is working as intended when fixes get made so fast... thanks

why you are the player character, because you can save and load

Just to mention, I'm still getting a crash when I save after selling to a vendor. I'm not sure what item is triggering the crash yet; I know it's in Laezel's inventory, but I haven't narrowed it down further.

I'm on Stadia.

Stadia still seems to load ver 4.1.1.16...
Any idea when Stadia user's might get this patch?

I can confirm, that the longrest crash is no longer tehre - I was able to longrest, using food and then save. Same with vendors. I was able to sell everything to Aron and then save - before, the game crashed.

Stadia not got any update.
In the current state its unplayable on stadia.
If i use controller.
And move my character i use the analog stick to move.
After i used the stick character is still moving in to a different direction .
On Druid camp around Aunti i cant save the game it keeps crashing. And i need to save cuz companions will not folow me after some stealthy movement . Also on stadia graphical settings are no longer avaible. And its looks awful.
I dont even understand why the studio not maked the deal with Geforce now. They have mose and keyboard support and 1000 time stronger machine and connection.

I hope the update a comming sooon.
And i also hope Bg3 will be avaible on Geforce now.
For me its better to buy two games then play on this platform. Thnx

bug feedback

if your player character's dream lover and Astarion's vampire event accumulate together, and put Astraion and Lae'zel in the camp, than have a camp, Astraion and Lae'zel will disappear??

ps : I think the problem is the sub-camp in the temple that I meet Raphael and then Lae'ael and Astraion can not have the right talking after meeting and can not appear in the main camp again.

You know, it's almost like they could wait until the patch is ready across all platforms and then release it simultaneously...like they did for the first few patches.

It’s definitely frustrating that they hype each new patch with all of this pageantry and everyone gets to play it except mac users every time. Just wait then announce it when everyone can play.

Unfortunately, Shovel didn't make it through a long rest, though. I was hoping I'd be able to keep him as a familiar, but that part doesn't seem to be working.

On the plus side, at least his portrait isn't hanging around.

It's weird that I feel like Mac usually comes out before stadia versions in the past right?

It is really cool they made it for Mac, and at last minute because I remember when that wasn't apparently on the table...

so I do appreciate that. However, seriously why not just wait until the patch is ready for all platforms before announcing and releasing it? No-one would know any better, everyone would be happy, and it would only delay the release by a few weeks but it wouldn't even be technically delayed if no-one knew about it

At least we get the Windows folks to beta test the patches before it arrives at the other platforms

Say 1 week, 1 month, it is irritable not to know and connect to forum every day and be disappointed every day
