Larian Studios Forums Baldur's Gate III Baldur's Gate III - Technical & Gameplay Problems Can't hide / sneak.

On multiple occasions I haven't been able to hide/sneak.
Only my party is in the room.
Both during single play and LAN gameplay.
Has anyone else had this problem?

which room?

At the beginning before entering the helm (solo game)
also at Aunty Ethels when entering the gnarled door (LAN)

This also happens in the area where you can snatch the spider egg

Also in the Dank Crypt you can sneak in area/hallway that joins all of the main areas but the enemies do not project sight cones.

Sneaking is compromised. I used group sneak at my usual spot approaching the outdoor chapel bandits, amd half the party immediately stood up like when someone sees the character trying to sneak. The party was well out of sight range, so it's gonk. I loaded a quicksave, backed up to near where I rescued Lae'zel, and THEN was able to accomplish group sneak.
