I’ve brought this up elsewhere a bunch of times, but I’ll say it again: this combat log behaviour is unacceptable.

I think the new dynamic sound mixing has a lot to do with the fact that Larian’s NPCs never stop looping lines. This problem sorely needs to be addressed with the combat log as well.

It may be a sign that things aren’t fully settled with the combat system, so it would be too early to give that kind of polish. Still, I hope the launch version deals with this serious issue (especially given how reactions work).
