Or, actually sleep?

I did a search but I'm not sure to what extent this has been mentioned before, but why do Elves sleep in the game?

Sleep and Rest are two diffrent things.

Yes, which is why I wrote sleep.

Some context would be helpfull ...
I never seen my elf characters sleep in this game. O_o

Maybe except Biting Astarion scenario.

Elves can choose to sleep instead of trancing, it's just that few choose to do so. Personally I hope we get to choose wether we can have our elven character sleep or trance during the character creator.

There are a few camp convos where it is a choice to mention sleep.

And the Astarion one obviously where the game forces it upon you.

Didn't realise that Elves could actually sleep, I thought they could only trance!
