If I join the theives guild will I be able to join the other guilds?

I am currently at Virdistis and there is quite a few quests that involve the theives guild. I am 100% warrior and do not have any pickpocket or picklock skills. Obviously I want to join the warriors guild so do I have to join the other guilds?

It's gona take me ages to level up again just to get level 1 pickpocket and picklock.

Can I just bypass the theives guild quests?

u can join the warrior guilds and the thieves guild, and the merchant guild. find items with pickpocet5 and lockpick on 'em. and u miss getting a good sword if u don't do it, the holy sword.

Where can I find weapons with pickpocket & picklock?

they're random drops/maybe Tingalf.

The thieves' guild quests are optional.

Kistandalius in Ars Magicana, the dwarven jeweler in the Dark Forest and maybe Corinna in Verdistis would be good places to check for rings/amulets with either a Pickpocket or Lockpick bonus.
Quick save before talking to / running your mouse cursor over a merchant or hitting the alt key. If they do not have what you are looking for, quick load. After you talk/trade with someone, it takes awhile (maybe 10 or 15 minutes real time) for their inventories to be reset.
