Larian Studios Forums Baldur's Gate III Baldur's Gate III - Technical & Gameplay Problems Can't use controller input.

Not sure if this is a Patch 8 specific problem or not since I never attempted to use a controller in BG3 prior to today. No controller inputs do anything except [A] which results in a popup message
"Warning Local co-op is only supported when using controllers. You can change the input device in the main menu options menu"
Only button on the dialog is [Accept] which must be clicked with a mouse.
Cannot find any indication of an "Input device" setting in the options menu, opened from the main menu or otherwise.

I have been using the Steam Controller Companion and today i cant get that same error from popping up. the controller works but when i click A (binding - left mouse click) this warning pops up everytime... wish there was a way to turn it off

I am having the exact same issue and it only started last week or so. I had been using a controller with reWASD, then one day I started getting this error and I haven't been able to get rid of it. It only happens when I use the A button on my Xbox One controller, all of the other keys work fine.

Edit: It looks like the menu/start button (the button with the three horizontal lines) does it too.
