One of my favorite mods is
Basket Full of Equipment.It spawns in the chest above where you wake up on the nautaloid. Time to dress for success!
The best part is that all weapons and armor can be edited.
My Barbarian armor came with 13 AC...turned that into 10, because unarmored defense adds Dex and Con for AC (and I reckless attack all the time anyway).
The Dark longbow has a bonus of 1d8 force damage...hmmm...bit OP...lets make that 1d4 Poison and call it reasonable.
One of my other favorite mods
Half Elf with skill versitility didn't get upgraded for patch 8.
It let me use any elf head...turns out I favor Half-Drow face 5...but I will get a cantrip I don't care about (except for giving lighting to the below photo) and I will loose 2 skills.
No worries...edit the armor to boost 2 skills and go with the half Drow look.
