Makes sense from an information control perspective - no chance of keys getting out, unauthorized screenshots/videos/streaming, etc. I wonder though how much feedback they'd get that's actionable with even a full day's playtest. For once, the US is left out - we're usually the ones who get this type of opportunity.

I'm sooo dissapointed that these session in Belgium are during my hollidays in France^^

I hope there will be playtests in Ghent in august ! My home is just 2 hours away from their office and it would be SO AMAZING to meet some of them and have a look at their studio !
(And to try act 2/3, ofc!)

I was contemplating to apply for Belgium (I'm living in Germany), but sadly, I can't take some days off during that time.
I wish all playtesters a lot of fun.

I've seen this on reddit a few days ago and I've tried to find a solution but... I cannot let my wife with our children here and pay 300€ more to get back in Belgium earlier ! Especially if I'm not sure to be a part of these playtest !

I have really enjoyed what they offered. I have a good idea what to expect, what class to make, and want to be pleasantly surprised as I slowly take in the finished product.

It will will be great to actually have brakes, a steering wheel, AC, AM & FM, and a complete story arc.

Yeah, discovery’s the best part of BG3. I’d uninstall the game if I thought I could resist playing it for 14 months.

But going to Ghent could be an opportunity to see how reactions look and whine and whine and whine if they’re unchanged.

Imagine they would use in their promo materials shots from that testing ... and one of testers would run around the room, yelling "Halsin, Halsin" ... and throwing confetti all around.
Priceless.
