Hi there,

I have recently become able to use the latest patch, after the most recent hot fix enabled the patch for us Mac users.

However, there seems to have been a big performance impact on my MacBook Air, against the last patch. The particle effects seem to be slow, and conversations are taking at least twice as long due to the rendering being slow.

Please could someone take a look? I'm using an M1 2020 MacBook Air with 8 core GPU and 16GB RAM.

It's not just Mac users

I’ve definitely been having some performance issues on my MacBook Pro. What worked best for me was lowering the resolution but keeping the graphics on high. It’s a little blurrier but at least all the textures are there. It still lags a bit in places though.

I have some issues I didn’t have before on my Asus Rog Strix laptop. The game runs fine for a while then randomly freezes for a couple of seconds, then runs fine again. It is unclear what is the connection between the freezings, as it usually happens outside of battle, but not always. Sometimes I just walk around doing nothing in the thiefling camp. No obvious overuse of the particle effects or anything connects these cases.
