But I haven't seen anything else about this issue, nor have I ever seen Larian comment on the issue
Shortly after the EA started, Swen did an interview with two German streamers (that I was never able to track back since then) where he basically promised (among other things) that this expanded dialogue system was something in the work.
Nothing ever came from it and I suspect that as far as they are concerned they consider the issue "solved" with the current "roll and buff" interface.
