My melee cleric in tabletop is a 8 STR, 8 DEX Dwarf Life Cleric with a shield and a bare hand. Armor training negates the movement penalty and I use cantrips for attack.
I get shoved a lot, that is a problem
But anyway, melee cleric shouldn't mean weapon attacks.
