With her statistics ... Shadowheart is certainly not Meele Cleric. :-/
For that she would either need more strength, or profficiency with some Finesse weapon. :-/

M - melee oriented classes
or melee oriented character design.
Clerics are a
melee oriented class. See: class recommented attributes on any official site & common playstyles. Some specializations can deviate from that, but that is a whole other topic. (Shadowheart being an average tank has no bearing on clerics as a class) Rogues rarely outshine
actual ranged classes at range but are comparatively better in melee. If your ranged!Astarion can consistently out-dps your melee!Astarion & you have a different opinion, play as you like ofc. More power to you. Wyll is a ranged class with a
melee oriented character design.

I meant front liner. She (my cleric) is a great tank.
So is mine!! I love my dwarven life cleric. <3 She can take a lot of hits while keeping everyone alive. Granted, I rolled somewhat higher str (14) but her dex is right there with yours. The high con and heavy armor do their job, hehe.
