Hrm. I dunno, I just don't see Larian doing the original game's writing justice (both in quality and volume). I wouldn't mind them having a go at NWN, tho.

Edit: Tbf, I don't think any modern developer could do the game/IP justice. At least, I can't think of any...
Not sure if I agree with your sentiment at all. I don't think Planescape: Torment is in need of a sequel, but it would be really nice to have a new game use the Planescape setting. I hardly think that just because Planescape: Torment was so good that no other developer should enter the City of Doors ever again. I'd like a completely different take on Sigil as a new Planescape IP, while leaving the door open for someone else to do a Planescape: Torment 2.
