If nothing else because the Divinity Fallen Heroes spin-off wasn't supposed to be from Larian at all.

It was from Logic Artists, the developers of Expeditions Vikings, Expedition Conquistadores, etc.

Party control in Baldur's Gate 3 is a complete mess that begs to be addressed. SAY NO TO THE TOILET CHAIN
