EDIT: Support is aware of the issue and will be fixed.

It seems something is wrong with Gale and teaching him new spells through scrolls.

I'm trying to teach him every single spell available with the scrolls, but ever since I started doing that I also started having these random unexplained crashes, usually right after teaching him. However now I've come across a guaranteed bug which causes the game to crash every time I try to give my party members Goodberries through Gale and then save afterwards.

I've already officially reported the bug and provided the save, but I'm curious if anyone else has had the game crash because of this.

it looks like a scripting crash to me;
test = have Gale cast the spell on himself instead then just open the inventory to send the berry to others

It wouldn’t explain crashes after learning other spells, of course.

Yeah this is goodberry related. I've reported it and seems like it is a known bug that would be fixed soon.

Yup, the support stated it's a known bug that will be hotfixed.

Hopefully they get to the root of the issue, since I don't think it's just exclusively Goodberry causing the problem since I've been using it for some time now during my playthrough and it didn't cause a guaranteed crash until yesterday.
