It would be very amusing to me if wizards would just go ahead and publish a table, like in the BoEF, but officially in the DMG, with marks for "compatible", "possible but rare" and "usually requires intervention (magic/divine etc.)", and of course with the usual caveats that this is just suggested and to tailor these details to your own world and game as desired etc.
