You forgot that true souls don't know about tadpole. Making their help questionable at best. Higher ups that do know about the tadpole on other hand most likely know about Tav and co and seeing about that kill order i doubt they will offer help beyond brainwashing.

Shadowheart, Lae'zel never tried to kill me. Astarion is an asshole so that is that.

My point was that he was sensible enough to not mess with that kind of magic until he understood it. What he had access to or didn't, doesn't change the fact he knew not to mess with it until he reached that point of competency. When I play RPGs that allow me to be evil, I too want to be a smart bad guy, and using the tadpole when you know nothing about it is stupid.

An evil moron is a legitimate character idea imo but I agree masterminds tend to do better in life, unless that moron stabs them in the back without thinking it through of course

There are two misstakes in that sentence:

1) You are concidering Ragzlin, Minthara and Gut ... they are mere pawns, certainly not as big fishes as they are suppose to believe themselves ... for our Tav Mc-Evil, they represent only a means to an end, hardly anything else.
You need to aim much higher to find your true target.

2) You are speaking about their "help" ... but that doesnt make sense, i never talked about their help ... i dont want them to help me, bcs i know they wouldnt even if they could ... i want to USE them ... ABUSE to be more specific.
Bcs thats how evil thinks ... you are not looking for help, you are not creating alies ... you are looking for opourtunities and create asets, that will get used and abandoned.

But actualy i would like thank you for saying this.
You know when i was thinking about this sentence i sudently realized that many people who are complaining about Evil route uses exactly this same argument ... "nobody of them will be able to help you" ... i heared this many times, but never gived it much credit. That was a misstake!
Bcs people who are looking at Evil route and concidering their chances to get help ... are (hope this description will not be too confusing) concidering it trough Good patch reasoning. And i believe THAT is i believe the reason they fail to see reason behind it.
So once again thank you for opening my eyes ... now i just need to find some way to open them to everone else.
