As a custom party player, I don't really care about premade party members, but in the specific case of Gale, I'm surprised that there are so few cursed items to get rid of with his "curse to consume artifacts". First of all, of course, there is the question of whether cursed items automatically count or should count as artifacts. Maybe I'm wrong, but right now he can't consume the Gloves of Power. I think he should be able to do that.
Fun Fact: He could solve Larians' box problem by consuming Shadowhearts box hehe. However a game-changing artifact and Gales curse... The whole thing wasn't really thought through...
