Picking high half-elf gold draconic sorcerer, will give an extra cantrip of your choice, disguise self (handy for certain dialogues, but especially useful when picked before talking to the dead. It's the only utility spell I pick, because there is no scroll for it in the game).
Does disguise self actually make a difference before talking to the dead? Cool if true.
Dead NPCs generally won't talk to whoever killed them, but if you use Disguise Self then they don't recognize you as their killer and thus proceed with the conversation.
I've found Disguise Self to be an incredibly interesting spell throughout the game. It even affects the prices you get at merchants, assuming you change their attitudes toward you.
