Gold format is ok. To me it doesn't really matter that much, gold, silver are all the same to me, especially with pickpocketing being the way it is very simple and effortless. I don't buy anything in BG 3 so in turn i don't care about the money just a tool i use in my pickpocketing, it has little value.
I think PoE had ok money system if i remember right?? i think it was PoE not sure.
When it comes to Merchant, Vendor - Suppliers on the other hand those are not fine. They should have static items lists that are not randomly generated if nothing else due to balance.
Their whole attitude system sounds fine but selling a few things for nothing just to get best prices feels like i'm cheating? Maybe it's just me, i don't know?
I would be happier with favours - quest system where in return you get better prices. Downside is that would mean more work for devs. But masterpieces need effort and work, so.
i really have no good example of trading in crpgs but having at least static items lists that don't just restock when you rest would be a nice start to all of it. I guess dragon age or PoE would be good examples.
Same as pickpocketing limitations. Like i said i don't really care about money and trading right now. Untill that is fix pickpocketing everything is free and in unlimited quantity anyway.
