There is the armor master feat, which is not in BG3 but in DD5 and it does that:

Prerequisite: Proficiency with medium armor
You have practiced moving in medium armor to gain the following benefits:
Wearing medium armor doesn't impose disadvantage on your Dexterity (Stealth) checks.
When you wear medium armor, you can add 3, rather than 2, to your AC if you have a Dexterity of 16 or higher.

I was wondering, do you believe that this feat is going to be released?

doubt it, i mean what would be the point? armour already has some items with disadvantage to stealth and others without + amount of armour checking Dex just adds another pointless thing the game has to keep doing

just take medium armour feat to put on gith armour or add 2 dex and wear drow armour

Point would be to have +1AC while wearing Medium Armor with 16Dex character ...
And since its source is Player's Handbook ... i would dare to say that chances are good.

It allows a medium armor user to get 1 extra AC (if they have enough DEX) and also avoid the penalties for stealth while wearing Half-Plate (15 AC). There are medium armor without penalties to Stealth - i.e. Breast Plate (14 AC), but that comes at the cost of having 1 less AC than Half-Plate.

So basically the benefits compared to someone without the feat are (via using half-plate):

- If originally using Half-Plate: (+1 AC, no stealth penalty)
- If originally using Breastplate: (+2 AC)
