When I loot after a fight, the game crashes. It has happened to me when I tried to loot the Goblin boss Fezzerk, the skeletons in the crypt, and the phase spider matriarch. I have tried looting by; dragging to my characters portraits, right clicking and selecting from the options, and double clicking. After the fight, the game also crashes when I try to save. I have tried to quicksave, and hard save. (Edit): I also limited my quick and hard saves to 1.

The only solution I have found it to fast travel all the way back to the camp and rest, so the game will autosave. After an autosave, the game allows me to save and loot like normal.

My Device Specs: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-7820HK CPU @ 2.90GHz 2.90 GHz | 32.0 GB (31.9 GB usable) | 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor | NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080

Any solutions would be greatly appreciated. So far, I have tried;
Verifying my files, A clean install, Running it in DirectX11, Running the game in Admin mode, Updated my GPU, Lowered the Video options below recommended settings.

Try turning off cross- saves and test if that fixes it... Having only one save point means you are open to permission issues as well as networking ones so it narrows it down

P.s, it's far more important to run the launcher as admin than the actual game

I tried this and sadly it didn't work.

But, after a few hours of testing I tried: limiting the FPS to 60 and ran the game in fake Fullscreen. The game seems to function properly without crashing. I also ensured that I added bg3 to my exclusion in Windows Security.

thanks for the support.
