Wich makes sense, most people (at least most people i know) have by that time different priorities than games.

I'm more saying late November or early December - not something actually on Christmas or during Christmas week. Just something close enough where they can do a Christmas theme or something like that.

Also - tons of companies and games release stuff around the holidays. It tends to boost sales. There is a reason Starfield was targeting 11/11 and Cyberpunk released too early - they want the holiday sales and money.

If BG3 can produce a release date (which who knows if they have a date in mind yet) - then this could lead to more preorder sales around the holidays.
