Paladins because halloween

At this point of early access, the announcement I anticipate the most is a better release estimation than "2023" :P

Halloween is officially tomorrow, as far as i know. It is always 31st of October.

It's on Monday this year, so i would expect an announcement for a PFH or a tease tomorrow, around 7-9 pm their time.

Is no one talking on how weird it is they are only communicating on a chinese streaming platform? Is the chinese player base that important? Wouldn't posting this on any western website be a good idea? I can't even find the original ghost emoji post even with intense Googling.

And yes, it is weird, but companies do that. They tease something almost non-important, and then sit and laugh at how it spirals through the internet. They did it for the barbarian patch as well.

Which makes me unable to understand if it's a sign.

Only monks? then why the barbarian patch was announced on the same chinese platform?

Only paladins because of the ghost(undead) and the announcement being on halloween?

There has been no announcement so far, though, so I doubt anything is coming. There is a deep sale on Divinities though.

Why would there be an announcement now? Halloween is tomorrow, and it's a weekend.

If, of course, we don't have anything tomorrow as well, then i'm with you :p

So there is quite fair chance that emoticon had actualy nothing in common with Baldur's Gate III. at all. O_o

If this is the case and there was no link to BG-3 at all from the start, isnt corecting people in this kind of stuff what Comunity Managers are "supposed to do"? O_o

Well, to put it bluntly, if we have a false idea that an announcement should be coming tomorrow, and they don't even come to tell us to stop waiting, then i would say that's bad on their behalf. Especially when they tease something, because , we didn't start a rumor just by ourselves.

And why would they tease a divinity sale on the same platform they hinted the barbarian patch?

That would mean leading on.

I think it's pretty straight forward to assume there will be something tomorrow.

A bunch of you guys were convinced there would be an update on the second anniversary of Early Access... there wasn't. In fact it made no sense to do it since the beginning because two years of a game being in Early Access isn't anything to celebrate.

They Tweeted a picture of a ghost with Halloween coming up and now a bunch of you are convinced that it absolutely has to mean something... when it very well might not.

Larian has no obligation to come around and comfort you because every random idea you dream up isn't real. To not do so isn't "bad".

They will announce something soon, there will most likely be a patch before the end of the year... just relax.

You do understand that they didn't tease anything about 2 years of EA, but they did tease something about halloween right? 2 years was our personal hope, not something from them. Now it's different.

If it's "real" or not, we will see.

And btw, no one asked for comfort, it's you that needs to relax.

I always thought people were really reaching for something with the ghost emote - because it was directed at a Chinese audience and I don't think Halloween really is a big piece of their culture there.
