You do understand that they didn't tease anything about 2 years of EA, but they did tease something about halloween right? 2 years was our personal hope, not something from them. Now it's different.
If it's "real" or not, we will see.

You said it would be 'bad' on Larian's behalf if they don't tell people to stop waiting...
Also - they didn't tease you with anything. They posted a ghost emote with Halloween coming up. It's October - a lot of companies and people do stuff like that. Maybe it means something, maybe it doesn't.
If they post a Christmas tree in December or a turkey in November it doesn't necessarily mean an announcement is coming. It means Thanksgiving and Christmas takes place in those months.
When i go and post ghost emojis on the same platform i announced the barbarian practically, around the time people expect an announcement, and Halloween is coming, it's not THAT big of a stretch for people to think that i am hinting at a halloween announcement.
It would be kinda bad to lead people on and do nothing.
You might not see the connection at all, and thing people are grasping at straws. Who cares if you think it's not bad? You just don't see why it would be. Am i supposed to explain it to you? Will you accept it? No, so it's a waste of time. If you can't see the connection at all, with all the things we know so far, i can't do anything else.
And yes, it could mean nothing. Which means in MY opinion, they should not have teased anything with a ghost emoji, especially after a community manager told us to wait for something(practically),
They aren't leading you on though. They posted a ghost emoji in the month of October. If they do or do not do something they didn't wrong you. They didn't do anything "bad", it is not a reflection on them as a company or on their ability to communicate with their fan base.
If you can't understand that then "I can't do anything else".
