You cant save Halsin with out the agro
I dont really bother with Auntie Ethel but you can throw a sleep potion on her and knock her off pretty easily
Theres a lever for the gate but make sure you shoot the crystal ( or whatever it is thats glowing ) first
As for the underdark your main concerns are the Bulette and the 2 Minotaurs
Grym Forge I have no idea really as I generally quit then so I have something left of Act 1 to look forward to upon full release
