Thanks for digging out that quote Max. What I don't really see in the response is a tangible bonafide reason why they can't implement a day/night cycle; it comes across as a politician's answer: "We don't do that but look at all these other things we do".

Also I'm afraid I can't really agree with that last paragraph, at least on my playthroughs the game world felt like static 'engagement' hubs where once an area was cleared, it was effectively dead to the game world.
