I appreciate that but give me a rainswept wilderness to explore or a city slum at night over cinematic dialogue any day of the week. I'd be inclined to be more in favour of cinematic dialogues if they weren't so poorly directed and there were dialogue options on a par with BG2. I also don't think every single interaction warrants a cinematic dialogue, they seem to me to work best when they are saved for important parts in the story, freeing up resources that would be better spent elsewhere, otherwise the game just feels like an interactive movie rather playing a CRPG.
