I don't know if this is a bug or if it was changed today, but when talking to the goblin guards outside of Moonhaven, both of the bard options don't get approval by any of the companions any longer. Yesterday, Astarion and Shadowheart were approving of these options.
(According to Steam, my game was last updated on October 18th)
