shadowheart must deliver the artifact to Baldur's gate so it's an obvious we will.
That's right.
WolfheartFPS has made a video with a very good overview of the BG 3 map locations, even BG City.
There are also more hints in the EA. In the Druid Grove we can find flyers from the Adventurer's Guild and Flaming Fist looking for adventurers to recruit.
We can steal the Sacred Idol for Mol and meet him in Baldur's Gate to sell it to him and help him to establish his own Thieves Guild. But I bet and really want to see that we will meet instead
Nine-Finger Keene and Rilsa Rael.
We have to bring Nightsong (and his apprentice Rolan) to Lorroakan
(rumored to be Edwin Odesseiron)
in the former Ramazith's tower.
We have to deliver The Missing Shipment to BG for the Zhents.
Cazador lives in the "Tumbledown" District and must be hunted down for Astarion.
There are rumors that we will pay a visit to Avernus. If we are led linearly to Baldur's Gate, the question is why and / or how and why then Avernus. Perhaps it is related to this person:
Yeah i got carried little too far. My original point was that i dont really believe that we will be any "welcoming" ... i mean, as far as i know we dont play any important character in Baldur's Gate ... who would bother welcoming commoneer?
I can even imagine that when we enter the city, our property will be allready sold. That would have little Hobbit vibe in it.
I still dont understand why cant we change Race for our hirelings. Lets us play Githyanki as racist as they trully are!
But i have something different in mind. Do you still remember first cinematic trailer? That one where member of Flaming Fist transforms into a Mind Flayer? The one that ends with another Nautiloid on the sky and litteraly dozens of Mind Flayers flying around?
Yeah, I know - therefore there are some worries that Larian will mimic what they did with Arx city and have it underassault. Hopefully it won't be so - perhaps assault on Baldur's Gate could be the finale of act 2 or something.
What about it? If you are Baldurian > you get dialogue options to recognize certain names ... If you are not > you dont.
Rag, this is trolling-borderline-idiocy. My original thought was not about Tav's reactions - it was about Counsellor and FF's reactions to Tav being of an unsavoury race:
Quote
a good indicator of city's reaction should be how that Duke's counsellor and Flaming Fist soldiers react to Tav being a Drow during the event at Waukeen's Rest. Whatever they say and do should be pretty much in line with the rest of the city.
If their dialogue lines are the same for Drow and Human, I wouldn't expect any special reception for drows / giths in the city. Because otherwise it would be a very poor writing on Larian's part.

As someone who primarily plays Drow/Githyanki and Tiefling characters, the Drow have the most racial reactions coming from NPCs, followed by Githyanki and then the Tieflings. And not only that, but even Lolth and Seldarine Drow get different responses too to such comments.
So I don't think there's any reason to worry about, as even now in Early Access the Drow is treated as a rare and fear instilling occurrence. And there are scenarios where the Drow exclusively gets a free pass, such as the Goblin camp, where the encounters are pretty different compared to other races.
So nothing really points towards the Drow being treated the same as the other the races.
Well maybe next time make sure that thought gets into the question ... Before you start insulting others. -_-
Still i dont really see why would Councilor react differently on Drow ... you just saved her life, so whatever you are, that alone should serve as proof you certainly arent "typical" example of your kind. O_o
