Listening to Lae'zel's admiration about her Queen, creche and culture really sets me in the mood hoping that at some point in the game the party will get snapped into the Astral Plane where they'll get to meet the Queen in the flesh for a brief moment. Or it might even be saved for the ending of Lae'zel's personal storyline when she becomes a kith'rak. Same with fallen Lady Zariel who Karlach quite intensely describes through the painful memory of having her name carved across her chest.

I'm quite curious to see how Larian would depict these two fascinating characters they keep mentioning.

Even though we'll be able to see Vlaakith in the dreams by playing as Lae'zel, I still hope we get to actually see her in the flesh. As for Zariel, the fact that she's actively hunting Karlach makes me believe we might get snapped to Avernus at some point and meet her in the flesh as well.

Would be cool if she'd get pissed off at us and take into account if we kill Commander Zhalk at the beginning ^^

BG3 plot seems to be riddled with Chekhov's guns waiting to be fired, so I would expect to see most of mentioned places and people at some point in the game (Cazador, Avernus, Zariel, Vlaakith, etc...).

I see no reason to worry, for we are not mere mortals. With the Dreamer on our side and the powers granted by her, I would not be surprised if we ended up going against Zariel and ending up in a stalemate.

We are after all going against Cazador, the three Drow Chosen, the Absolute and who knows what else. We are meant for great deeds, so a smackdown with Zariel in some shape or form would not be unimaginable as we most likely will be powerful enough for it, though I would settle in just meeting her.

For a BG 3, they are at most interesting and more authentic for short appearances like Elminster in the previous games.

Yes, that would be great! I think since we are already quite powerful in Act 1, this could be possible.
You can fight Zariel in the Descent into Avernus campaign, and that is a level 1 to 13 campaign.

I think / I hope the story is going to be very epic. I like it.
