Wasnt Karlach a random bg3 character? according to her wiki her only appearances are in bg3 and magic. And when the cards came out she wasnt in the game yet
Karlach definitely was in the game since the beginning for the "hunt the devil" quest line :
I'd say that is probably enough of an appearance for her to be featured.
