My response to this ban to you:

Seems i hit some dev’s nerve here or some posters snowflakes with special treatment over there.
You had no right to ban me for this long or ban me at all in first place xD

You just called me unhinged, you are judgmental af, made just bunch of assumptions about me in this post, you sound like hypocrite with double standards and then you just banned me.

Now am actually mad. I don’t even often write here lol, am mostly lurker, so how can you make such conclusions in short time about me? What are you an certified psychologist or some police profiler?

This was not deserving of any ban, but an simple written first warning if anything.
These forums are barely active and I got banned so fast after i decided to share my opnion and bump D/N cycle thread. You must be so bored seriously. You wanna shoo away this little activity, what is left of us here?

Seems it is not even worth here to post anything anymore and is waste of my energy and time because, in this community eyes am officially branded now as “unhinged” old bg fan by a forum mod, aswell you enable passive aggressiveness from other forum members who taunts and gave pass to others for snarky toxicity without consequences towards me and any older bg fans who might dare to join here and speak their minds here in the future. Congratz /facepalm

xD as a mod you should keep to yourself, your personal opinions about other people here more than me. Reasons why someone got banned can be expressed in better ways with highlighted proof in spoiler section followed up with dm if necessary. I got neither of this.
Don’t call other people unhinged (fancy word for crazy) You make it personal then and acted quite unprofessional.

You don’t know me, you don’t have rights or being specialized to brand me like this and I didn’t ask you to give your opinion of my mental health here publicly.

You sopouse to be neutral and professional with one job to do here (remind people of the rules,warning and last resorts are bans and perma bans). Your branding people with their mental state as mod, is more harmful than whatever “unhinged bs” I wrote here on this forum out of my passion for bg franchise.

Is this how you represent Larian? And is this attitude and opinion of Larian itself which you carry and we are actually fools who gave money to support you?

I gonna tag Larian Dev here now as report so you can reflect on your choice of words and actions aswell as a mod if we gonna be so strict and power abusive about this.
Maybe it is you who should need to take bit of day off and set your values right.

You got timed-out for 24 hours because of statements such as these;
There are plenty of Baldur's Gate fans on this forum who do not like BG3 or certain aspects of it, however they do not resort to name-calling, shit-posting, hate-posting nor insults to express their thoughts and criticism of the game. They offer their thoughts in a constructive and civilized manner. Since you seem unable to express your thoughts without trying to be rude, it does not take special insight to figure out why you got timed out. These are not the Steam forums after all, these forums are more civilized.

The forum mods have every right to moderate this site and if necessary temporarily ban posters who post offensive messages. It's good for most of us if this site isn't tainted with flame wars etc.

If the goal was to not be branded as a banned poster then it surely doesn't help creating a separate thread about the subject. Then you attract attention of others who didn't even follow the original thread.

The best way to deal with such things is to let it pass and move on. Becoming angry and reply with insults will only add fuel to the fire. It's better to just ignore messages one doesn't like and not respond.

I think everybody posting comments to others should think about this: Could you have said what you write face to face to the same person? If not then you're better off editing your message. It's too easy hiding behind an avatar making insults to those you don't agree with.

I also find it strange that those who complain the most about insults from others fail to see how they themselves actually insult others. If you do your best to be polite then you reduce the risk of being attacked by others. Having said that you have to expect that not everyone agree with you. If they attack your opinion then you just have to deal with it and explain why you feel the way you feel about a subject. E. g. it's perfectly fair to claim that you've given up on Larian's development of BG3. If you want to have constructive comments then it helps if the reasons behind such opinions are explained.

Your timeout was the warning - Words rarely work with those who are unwilling to listen.

Let's try and prove it:

Look inwards. This is a warning. Do what you will with it, but if you get unnecessarily unpleasant towards others again, more than a 24-hour timeout awaits.

(And for the record, I don't moderate what people say, only how they say it. I am pretty critical of some things Larian do (or don't do!) myself, and can assure you it's solely your personality that gets you in trouble. If being critical of Larian would get you in trouble, the majority of the forum users would be banned, don't ya think?)
